The purpose of the study is to study the value orientations of young people and identify the factors influencing their formation. The results obtained can be used to develop programs and activities aimed at creating positive values among young people.
In the article, based on the materials of an intelligence focus group study, the question of developing a value model for forming and regulating worldview orientations of future law enforcement officers is raised. In the process of analyzing the obtained data, we relied on the fact that individual values and preferences of young people are formed and manifested in the context of social interactions and structural influences present both at the macro level (Russian society) and at the micro level of a private nature (the institutional environment of the police). Respondents not only strive to present themselves in a certain light, corresponding to social and professional expectations, but also act within and under the influence of institutional and cultural structures that shape their agency. This interaction between agency and structure is reflected in their value orientations, motivation and professional aspirations. Based on the results of the study, we formed a strategy for further development of the problematic field, and also made preliminary conclusions regarding the formation of value orientations of young people seeking to connect their lives with a career in the police.

The article presents an analysis of the results of a sociological study of the assessment of parents of schoolchildren of the image of a school in the space of a small city. One of the factors of the growth of a small city can be a social and educational center that combines several levels of education, based on a school that performs the role of uniting citizens, broadcasting traditional culture, developing children's creative abilities, creating conditions for young people for the next stages of education. The results obtained will allow us to develop models of interaction between schools not only with other subjects of the cultural and educational space, but also with the society of a small city, which implies the creation of a new type of schools.
The article presents an analysis of migration strategies of high school students based on a sociological survey in the Tambov region. The author's empirical research shows that the youth of the region is focused on moving for the purpose of education, while moving more often leads to a deterioration in the socio-economic situation of young people. It is established that the migration attitudes of students are influenced by: the financial situation of the family, educational motives and socio-demographic characteristics. In a significant way, the decision to move is made for reasons of poor quality of educational infrastructure, lack of development of cultural, entertainment and commercial institutions, low wages, a narrow labor market and uncertainty of prospects for self-realization in the region.
