Abstract

The article attempts to comprehend the problems of the transformation of sovereignty within the framework of national states. In addition, the features of the distribution of sovereignty between the national, regional and local levels of government in the state are analyzed.

The article also examines the phenomenon of the federal form of the territorial-political structure and demonstrates the algorithms and principles of the policy of optimizing the territorial space of a federal state.

At the same time, the article offers its own concept of the reform of the territorial structure of the federal state in the conditions of increasing globalization processes, the growth of separatist sentiments, etc.

Abstract

The article deals with the main threats to the security of “North – South” international transport corridor. These threats are the potential conflicts located near transport communications of “North – South” in the South Caucauses, Central Asia, Middle East and South Asia, activity of terrorist organizations and colored revolutions in the countries participating in the building of the corridor. Such international and inner conflicts prevention and solving could be provided by SCO, CSTO and bilateral cooperation between Russia and states-participants of the “North – South” project.

Abstract

The article presents an analysis of the results of a sociological study of value orientations in modern pandemic conditions. The purpose of the article was to describe possible changes in the values of Tambov women against the background of the transformation of life circumstances caused by self-isolation and lockdown. The method of obtaining empirical data is the author›s sociological research and secondary analysis of previously conducted studies.

Abstract

The article presents the results of the analysis of the data of a sociological study of the attitudes of the population of the Karachay-Cherkess Republic in relation to certain civil rights and freedoms as values of civil society. Some modern approaches to the study of the situation with the observance of the rights and freedoms of citizens are shown, the need to abandon subjectivity and politicization in assessing the results is indicated. The array of indicators obtained in the course of a survey of residents of Karachay-Cherkessia, characterizing the positions of respondents, is studied, on the basis of which the ranking of the investigated rights and freedoms is carried out. In general, a high level of awareness of the importance of strict adherence to the studied values of modern society is determined. Prospective directions for further development of this topic in the framework of sociological science are proposed.

Abstract

The article characterizes some aspects of the national culture of the Republic of Tuva, the way it influences modernization of the social structure of the region. It shows special features of the national culture in urban and rural spheres. Particular attention is given to objective and subjective conditions of the development of the national culture as the basis for modernization of such a specific region as the Republic of Tuva. Certain suggestions regarding application of concrete possibilities for modernization of the social structure of the Republic of Tuva and the influence of national culture on these processes based on the data of sociological research made by Ph.D, professor Golenkova are formulated.

Abstract

The level of youth involvement in Internet has been estimated on the base of empirical studies of leading domestic and foreign research centers. The analysis of Internet influence on the youth socialization showed on the one hand, positive effects (advantages) of cybersocialization of young people were highlighted: unlimited access to educational portals; opportunity for creativity, self-expression; the potential to become a participant in the process of creating and spread of information; development of communication skills. On the other hand, the authors analyzed the negative effects (risks) of Internet youth socialization: unregulated access to destructive content; involving teenagers in suicidal social groups; the growth of social escapism among the youth; the spread of internet addiction and information fatigue. The results of the analysis demonstrated that due to the lack of deep, all round theoretical approach, there is a need for a deeper, comprehensive theoretical approach which analyses risks and opportunities of Internet youth socialization and is capable to comprehensively describe the effects of cybersocialization of youth.

Abstract

In the article there is a description of the cause – and - effect relationships of the occurrence of man-made emergencies on the example of the most sensational disasters of the past years. It is also said about the impact of emergency events on the life and health of people who are at work in the performance of their labor obligations. In addition, conclusions are drawn that emphasize the need to analyze the past experience of various incidents in order to avoid the occurrence of similar situations in the future and to maximize the personal safety of people who have a directly close contact with the technosphere.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the scientific analysis of the semantic dia lectics of the phenomenon of information and the category of information space, which, according to the authors, reflects the historical path of devel opment of the mind and the essence of human spiritual existence, while it includes the evolution of types of information, methods of its transmission and the entire deep social experience of mankind. This study is relevant, in cluding in connection with the emergence of new information technologies. The scientific novelty of the research consists in a comprehensive analysis of theoretical scientific approaches studying the modern information space and experimental data that allow us to identify the socio-cultural specifics of the development of the information space on the example of the Russian region.

The work is devoted to some aspects of constructing and deconstructing the image of the enemy in social conflicts. First of all, the reflexive management of the formation of the enemy’s image, which is considered through the use of mechanisms of moral exclusion, moral mandate, infrahumanization and dehumanization, the threat of stereotype acceptance, cultural-ideological and information-communicative superiority.
