POLITICS AND SOCIETY
The concept of ESG has become a key factor in today's business environment as companies face the need to adapt their practices in response to rising expectations from society and stakeholders. The author raises the issue of the necessity to develop an effective state policy in the forming socially responsible business, analyzing the performance of the regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation. The main part of the study is devoted to the analysis of the main factors conducing to the implementation of the ESG approach in the Russian companies.
In the article, the authors, based on the results of a political and sociological analysis of numerous foreign sources, government reports and official data from ministries and departments of a number of Western countries, publications of leading Western media, present the evolution of views of Western states on the development and implementation of new conceptual approaches to interaction with the countries of Central Asia. The West's multi-vector foreign policy in the Central Asian region is based on the priorities of the United States and NATO to expand their military presence and oust Russia and China from this strategically important region.
Considering the trend of victimization prevalence in societies of many countries around the world, including Russia, the strategies they use for prevention and deterrence of this pernicious phenomenon, which include various measures (development of codes of conduct for public officials and politicians that supplement the legal system, improvement of legislation and its application practices in crime prevention, enhancement of organizational and management mechanisms for their prevention, and the introduction of modern information technologies in the field of combating crime), the authors of this article believe that a key role in the implementation of policies for crime prevention and victimization deterrence should undoubtedly be played by school education.
The authors are convinced that modern criminal policy aimed at combating crime and preventing certain types of crimes will not be fully effective without the integration of relevant educational and enlightenment programmes, as well as educational activities into the school system and believe that teaching the basics of victimology and victimological prevention in school , should be achieved not only by supplementing curriculum and extracurricular activities with topics related to victimization, but by integrating
universal values and concepts associated with this phenomenon into the content of the taught disciplines.
The article analyzes the experience of foreign countries in solving problems associated with victimization in educational institutions, in applying measures to prevent itt, as well as the experience of introducing educational programmes to prevent victimization in the educational process, which can be useful to domestic specialists dealing with issues , related to increasing legal awareness and victimological training of schoolchildren.
SOCIOLOGY OF YOUTH
The article examines the influence of the course "Fundamentals of Russian Statehood" on the formation of civic identity and patriotism among students. The role of the course in educating active citizens capable of conscious participation in society and ready to make responsible decisions is emphasized. A special feature of the course is the need for constant updating and adaptation, taking into account feedback from students and changing environmental conditions, since the level of attractiveness of the discipline directly affects the level of its success, which contributes to improving the quality of education and preparing students for the challenges of the modern world. In this regard, the author suggests several tasks, the implementation of which will help improve the quality of the educational process.
The formation and development of time management skills in adolescents is a pressing issue, the importance of which is only increasing at the present time, since the specificity of this age is the emergence of multitasking in the activities of young people and it becomes especially important to master the skills of effective time planning, as well as prioritization of goals and objectives.
THEORY AND HISTORY OF CULTURE
The article presents the author's view on the problem of the development of Russian culture during the sanctions and cold war of the West against Russia. The article analyzes the attempts of the collective West to distort the history of the Russian state, undermine the cultural component of the life of Russians, as well as the activities of Russian society to counter attacks and ensure national security in a special military operation.
The article examines cultural relations between Russia and Iran through the lens of socio-political and cultural parallels. By examining the socio-historical, spiritual, and cultural aspects of these two countries, including literature, cinema, religion, and tourism, the author argues that intercultural relations between them are continuous and hold great potential for the future.
CONFERENCES
The article is devoted to the representation of the results of an empirical sociological study conducted to identify the opinions of university students about the role of additional education in the lives of schoolchildren. The author of the study establishes correlations and features of the impact of additional education on the development of school-age children, including their professional orientation. Based on the results of the survey, the author draws conclusions about the importance of additional education for pupils and the difficulties in obtaining it in modern times.
The article deals with the problem of the development of secondary vocational education in Kirsanov in the context of increased interest in secondary vocational education. Today, the vocational education system is undergoing tremendous changes: the perception of secondary vocational education in society is changing, and the demand for working professions is increasing. It is important to look at these processes from the inside, track key trends, and find out the opinions of future mid-level specialists about the education they receive. The authors of the study provide several recommendations for optimizing the work of colleges and technical schools, contributing to solving the identified problems and increasing the motivation of young people to receive secondary vocational education.
The article is devoted to the analysis of the dynamics of the OGE results in the Tambov region in 2023-2024. For 2023-2024, certain trends in the OGE results are observed in the region, reflecting both the positive and negative aspects of the current educational policy. The authors highlight the key factors of success and aspects that require additional attention and resources.
