Abstract

The article presents the main approaches to understanding the concept of international organization (legal, systemic, functional, economic, institutional ones). The prerequisites for the formation of international organizations in the history of world politics are described. It is noted that military-political alliances became the first international organizations in the world. The main functions of international organizations are highlighted. Criteria are presented on the basis of which it is possible to classify international organizations (nature of membership, geographical criterion, functional dimension). In addition, the article presents conclusions about possible future directions for the development of the international integration process and the risks that complicate it.

Abstract

The article examines the value-ideological state of Russian society, which over the past decade has generally retained its key characteristics. The blurriness of the party-ideological space of Russian politics determines the contradictory nature of Russian citizens’ ideas about the ideological affiliation and value priorities of political parties. The value components in the party structure are largely determined by what political values are in demand in Russian society today and how, in connection with this, citizens identify themselves in the political and ideological space.

Abstract

In the current geopolitical conditions, the priority of ensuring the national security of the Russian Federation is more urgent than ever. A lot of effort is being devoted to achieving this task. The issue of ensuring transport security after the start of the SVO in Ukraine is given special attention, since the threat of terrorist attacks has increased. Within the framework of this article, transport security is analyzed as an element of Russian national security.

Abstract

The article presents the results of a sociological study examining the impact of the “Pushkinskaya card” project on the cultural activity of youth in Omsk, conducted using the method of formalized interviews (N=383, card users) in public spaces of Omsk in April-May 2023. The analysis of the data obtained revealed 4 groups of users according to the frequency of cultural contacts before and after receiving the card; The authors identified types of users based on the criterion of using card funds. The results of the study showed that 94% of Omsk respondents were satisfied with the Pushkinskaya card project.

Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of the history and modern trends in the formation of museum management as a system of principles, methods, means and forms of management of a museum institution and its staff. The development of the theory and practice of museum management in the world gives the author reason to conclude that museums are not considered as agents of change, but can initiate a rethinking of the role of history in public life; the use of new technologies allows the museum to focus on its mission, rather than on administration; There have been trends in rethinking the functions of modern museums in the field of sustainable development - today museums can become a place of recreation and mental health of a person. Relevant areas of museum development are also: cooperation with the local community, educational programs for young people and people of silver age.

Abstract

The development of society is a process not only associated with the growth of opportunities, but also associated with the emergence of new risks, as well as the aggravation of existing ones. The article deals with the issue of transformational costs in the cultural sphere caused by the intensive development of information technologies. The article analyzes the general impact of information technologies on culture, as well as the changes embracing it as a result of the emergence of new technologies for capturing, storing and transmitting information. The main trends and risks associated with the intensification of information exchange are considered. The point of view is substantiated, according to which at the present stage the use of digital technologies is complicated by the influence of political and commercial interests, as well as associated with mechanisms for reproducing crisis trends in culture.

Abstract

Based on the analysis of dissertations defended in the period 2000– 2023 in various specialties, the article examines the main directions of scientific research on the problems of megacities in terms of the political and managerial component of their development. There is an active development of the subject field directly related to politics by various fields of knowledge, as well as the presence of a number of intersections and even coincidences of research topics not only within one scientific specialty, but also among different sciences. The prospects for the formation of an interdisciplinary scientific direction related to the comprehensive study of megacities as objects and subjects of state policy and management in modern Russian conditions are outlined.

The article is devoted to the practice of positive discrimination in higher education on the example of Native Americans in the United States. The author studies the main tolls for improving access to education – the system of tribal universities and colleges, scholarships and training grands. It is analyzed the moral reasons for the need of more targeted work with these ethnic minority representatives.
