Conceptual rationale and the impact of lobbyism on the political process
Abstract
In the article, the author considers modern concepts and theories of lobbying, interpretations of lobbying in the context of the political process. In the article the author highlights the main criteria of lobbying. The importance of interest groups influencing the political process is analyzed. The author in the article analyzes the general theoretical concepts of the analysis of the institution of lobbying: group theory, pluralistic theory and lobbying, corporatist theory, political network theory. In the article, the author states that lobbying in modern conditions has a significant potential for political or corporate compromise, lobbying is a highly effective tool for realizing the political interests of influence groups, allowing you to achieve your goals. Lobbying has coalition potential, sometimes integrating different political actors with different positions, but uniting under the influence of circumstances to achieve tactical goals.
