State housing policy and urban development in modern Russia: priorities and main directions

Abstract

The article analyzes the main priorities and specific tasks of the state policy in the housing sector and in the field of urban development, outlined by the President of the Russian Federation in his addresses to the Federal Assembly and during speeches at meetings of a number of federal advisory bodies and structures. The special attention of the country's top leadership to the formation and implementation of an effective housing policy is emphasized, as well as their awareness of the link between this sphere of state activity and other important areas.
