Gender stereotypes and their role in modern society

Abstract

The article examines the existing gender role stereotypes, their place in the modern world. The differences between gender and gender, the varieties and functions of gender stereotypes, as well as the concepts of "masculinity" and "femininity" are presented. The article presents the division of gender stereotypes into groups: masculinity and femininity, fixing certain social roles and stereotypes reflecting intersex differences in certain activities
