North Caucasus Federal District: the quality of life of the population in the context of the implementation of the «Strategy of socio-economic development of the NCFD in the period up to 2030»
Abstract
The article presents the dynamics of key indicators of the quality of life of the population of the North Caucasus Federal District. Based on the comparative statistical analysis (for the period from 2009 to 2022) of significant indicators of "human well-being", a conclusion was made about the ambivalence of assessments of the quality of life of residents of the North Caucasus region. The role of the "shadow" sector in assessing the main socio-economic indicators is shown. As part of the implementation of the "Strategy for the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal District in the period up to 2030", measures to improve the quality of life of the population of the region are substantiated.
