Civilizational and cultural approach to understanding power
Abstract
In the article, the authors attempt to analyze the concept of power, its essence and characteristics from the point of view of the civilizational-cultural approach. The modern world has lost its spiritual guidelines, so civilizational support is the only condition for survival. The authors believe that the understanding of state power/authority in the paradigm of the civilizational-cultural approach makes it possible to explain the origins of the formation of the roots of racism and fascism in Protestant culture, to avoid Eurocentrism, to show the impossibility and destructiveness of the proliferation of the one matrix of state power/authority and values.
