Mass media as a factor in the formation of cognitive distortions of students

Abstract

The article analyzes one of the aspects of the problem of deviant behavior of student youth related to the influence of information influences through the media on the formation of cognitive distortion. The authors have shown that schools and universities often become places of incident, while the reasons for destructive acts are often cognitive distortions, as a result of which students begin to believe in their own exclusivity. The authors propose a number of practical recommendations aimed at reducing the impact of the media on the collective consciousness of the younger generation and leveling cognitive distortions of students.
