В статье рассматривается проблема определения возможностей и пределов использования в современных условиях опыта Российского государства в области формирования и реализации информационной политики в дореволюционный и советский периоды. Отмечается, что сама по себе деятельность в информационной сфере не является чем-то новым для многовековой отечественной государственности, вместе с тем в конкретно-исторических условиях она имеет формальные и содержательные особенности. Учет последних крайне необходим при попытках задействования прошлого опыта осуществления информационной политики в настоящее время.
The article deals with the problem of determining the possibilities and limits of using the experience of the Russian state in the field of formation and implementation of information policy in the pre-revolutionary and Soviet periods in modern conditions. It is noted that the activity in the information sphere itself is not something new for the centuries-old national statehood, at the same time, in concrete historical conditions, it has formal and substantive features. Taking into account the latter is extremely necessary when trying to use the past experience of implementing information policy at the present time.
