В статье представлены результаты анализа многочисленных зарубежных источников, посвященных сущности и особенностям реализации в деятельности силовых структур западных стран концепции стратегической коммуникации. Выявлены основные компоненты стратегической коммуникации - система информационно-психологического противоборства, публичная дипломатия, связи с общественностью и информационно-психологические операции. Описана деятельность специальных центров передового опыта НАТО по ведению средствами информационного оружия подрывной информационно-пропагандистской работы в России и против России. Особое внимание уделяется современным технологиям воздействия на сознание людей и приемам деятельности стратегических коммуникаторов по обеспечению информационного доминирования над странами-конкурентами, формированию у объектов воздействия заданного алгоритма поведения.

The article presents the results of the analysis of numerous foreign sources devoted to the essence and peculiarities of the implementation of the concept of strategic communication in the activities of the power structures of Western countries. The main components of strategic communication are identified - the system of information and psychological confrontation, public diplomacy, public relations and information and psychological operations. The article describes the activities of special NATO Centers of Excellence in conducting subversive information and propaganda work in Russia and against Russia by means of information weapons. Special attention is paid to modern technologies of influencing people’s consciousness and methods of strategic communicators’ activities to ensure information dominance over competing countries, the formation of a given behavior algorithm for the objects of influence.
